Kaviaar in New Yorkse gaarkeuken

Als je aangewezen bent op een gaarkeuken, dan verwacht je waarschijnlijk dat je brood, soep, aardappelen en misschien een stukje vlees krijgt. En niet te keurig opgediend. Vandaag voldoet een gaarkeuken in Manhattan allesbehalve aan dat vooroordeel. Daar staat namelijk kaviaar op het menu! Het is een eenmalige gelegenheid, mogelijk gemaakt door een anonieme gulle gever. Die vond waarschijnlijk dat de arme New Yorker in deze donkere dagen wel een extraatje kan gebruiken. Chefkok Michael Ennes van de Broadway Community Inc vertelt het AP dat hij zo’n 150 mensen aan de lunch verwacht. De kaviaar wordt geserveerd met zure room, eieren en maïs-pannenkoekjes.

Migraine is een bonzende hoofdpijn die meestal voorkomt aan één kant van de schedel. De pijn is heftig en houdt 4 tot 72 uur aan.
